Temmy is a music educator who has extensive experience helping learners of all ages and levels achieve their musical goals. She earned a diploma in Music Education (2012) and a Bachelor of Arts in Music (2015), both from the University of Nigeria, West Africa. She also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Education from the National Open University of Nigeria. She is currently pursuing graduate studies in music therapy at Duquesne University, Pittsburgh PA.

Temmy strongly advocates that music is not just an art but a fundamental means of communication and self-expression. Her hobbies include adventure and cooking.

Samantha Stewart is an Early Childhood Specialist and a certified children’s music instructor, who has 15+ years of experience working with children. Sam has been involved with Music Together for about a decade, first as a nanny taking kids to classes, then as an attending mom, and eventually as an instructor! She believes in this program with her whole heart. Sam grew up in Greensburg, PA, spent her 20s between Boston and Albany, and moved back to PA to be closer to family when she had her own little one. Now that she has a toddler of her own she’s excited to be back in her hometown, doing the work that she loves in a community she loves. She’s ready to help your little ones tap into their inherent musicality and the joy of making Music Together. Sam has completed her Rhythm Kids training and her Certification Level 1, allowing her to teach Babies classes!

Kristin is an accomplished pianist and teacher who has been teaching music in the Pittsburgh area for over twenty years. She has a B.F.A. and M.M from Carnegie Mellon University where she focused on piano pedagogy, Dalcroze Eurythmics and piano performance. Some of the schools where Kristin has had the pleasure of teaching include the Carnegie Mellon Preparatory School, Saint Vincent College, and Pittsburgh C.A.P.A 6-12. She has also had her own private piano studio for over ten years. Kristin is returning to teach Music Together after being away for a decade, and is extremely happy to be approaching the method again as a new parent. She lives in Irwin with her fiancé Tim, her one- year- old son Evan, and their two cats Chloe and Clementine.

Biography should read “Sean has been a musician for most of his life, starting with choir and piano in early grade school and branching out into percussion and other instrument families through high school and college. He graduated from Baldwin Wallace University Conservatory of Music with a Bachelor’s in Music Education in 2019 and has been teaching in multiple schools from Toledo and Brunswick, Ohio to Braddock Hills and Montour schools here in Pennsylvania. Sean is looking forward to changing gears and focusing his teaching skills on one student at a time in piano, voice, percussion, and other instrumental lessons rather than larger groups, but he does hope to see Monroeville Music grow to include a choir and maybe even a band!”
